• Rock on, class Three

    Class Three have been enjoying the topic on Rocks. In fact, I think they have enjoyed it far more than I thought they would.

    We have been experimenting with different types of rocks and using interesting words such as “sedimentary” and “metamorphic” to describe the type of rocks that we have.

  • World Book Day

    Today is a wonderful day of celebrating all things to do with books. The children look fantastic and you should all be proud of how fantastic and bright the children look.

    The children have made some wonderful story boxes.

    Let’s just hope that we don’t take too long in the changing rooms for swimming!

  • It’s electric in class 3

    Today in class 3, we were looking at components and series circuits. The children drew scientific diagrams of the circuits they were going to create and then and lots of fun making them!

  • Easter Pause Day

    Class 3 have explored Jesus’ journey to the cross. Each group dug into one of the miracles Jesus performed from his first miracle of turning the water into wine right up until his resurrection that we celebrate at Easter.

    We did a freeze frame of before the miracle and after it to show how Jesus changed people’s lives and made them ask and wonder about who he was.

  • World Book Day Celebrations

    Class 3 made a fantastic effort with their costumes for World Book Day and we enjoyed sharing their favourite books.

    As a change for storytime, some of the children read their books to us and I enjoyed listening to some old favourites and discovering some new and exciting authors!

    We also joined in with the BBC Live Lesson and had a go at twisting the character and ending for our favourite stories to create a whole new story. Here is some of our work:
